Claudio Maksoud Filho really switched things up when he left São Paulo for the Bolt HQ in Tallinn, joining the team as the Global Sales Manager for Bolt Food.
Here’s what’s amazed him most in the first month:
1. It’s the perfect mix of tradition and technology. 💻
While having 99% of public services online feels like traveling to the future, visiting the medieval Old Town is a nice journey to the past.
2. The different neighborhoods have strong personalities. 🏡
There’s a perfect place for families with children; for urban tech workers; for outgoing creative people. No matter your preferences, you’ll find a match.
3. In a startup, you get to work with people from all over the world. 🌍
This is already cool in itself, but your colleagues’ experiences settling in will also help you in the process.
4. Everything is less than 15 minutes away. ⏰
Be it a big shopping mall, a grocery store, parks, restaurants and bars, your office. Not bad for a capital city, huh?
5. There are so many trees! 🌳
This is a city that clearly tries to grow in harmony with nature. I can’t wait to start exploring the surroundings and go hiking.
